River Root Integrated Care
I support people through preparing for and experiencing the end of their life. My work blends practical care with emotional and spiritual support: nourishing meals, gentle organization, deep listening, and companionship through change.
Care is not limited to one season of life. It’s something we cultivate, return to, and receive again and again- in the mess, the beauty, and the becoming.

About
My name is Sydney Buszta
My path to end of life care began with a loss in my early years, an experience that opened my heart to the quiet language of grief. Since then, I have been learning how sorrow moves, even in the hardest moments, there is sacredness to the way we love and let go.
I have my certification as a Death Doula through IAP Career College (2025), and I am currently in ministry training to become a cherag/minister in the Ruhaniat Sufi tradition- guided by Bodhi Be. These lineages and teachers support the way I show up: with reverence for the mystery, respect for all spiritual paths, and a deep trust in the wisdom already within each person.

Grief Support
$25-35 per hour, sliding scale
Grief is a natural response to loss- a process that asks for gentleness, patience, and understanding. I offer compassionate nonjudgmental support for those moving through grief in all its forms. Together, we can create space to honor what has been lost, explore what is emerging, and to find grounding within the cycles of change.
Swedish Death Cleaning
$25-35 per hour, sliding scale
Swedish Death Cleaning is a mindful method of downsizing and organizing belongings. This can be done at any stage of life. I help sort items, decide what to keep, donate, or pass on. We work together to make meaningful plans for cherished possessions. This process can help reduce stress, increase clarity, and help families avoid difficult decisions later on.
